Check Dates Before Purchasing
Purchasing a class does not reserve a date. If you need particular dates, contact me to check availability before purchasing.
After checkout, email Sales@DobermanForge.com with your order number, attendee names, and preferred dates. You are responsible for contacting me to schedule; I do not automatically reach out to purchasers.
Scheduling & Seasonal Availability
Booking stays open year-round, but classes do not take place from October 1 through Christmas while I focus on holiday knife production. Additional dates are blocked before major shows.
During the fall and holiday season, you can reserve a January class or another available date. January dates tend to fill quickly, so early scheduling is encouraged.
Please arrange your booking within 12 months of purchase. The class itself may take place later on an agreed date.
Start times are arranged with each student or group, from 9 a.m. onward. We’ll confirm your start time, expected finish time, and directions when scheduling.
Gifts, Groups & Schedule Changes
Classes can be given as gifts or transferred to another attendee. The person attending should provide the original order number when scheduling.
For group or private-session inquiries, contact me before purchasing so we can discuss availability and arrangements.
If you need to reschedule, notify me before your class begins. Earlier notice is appreciated. Your new date will depend on availability.
If you miss your class without notifying me before its scheduled start, the booking is considered fulfilled and does not qualify for a replacement session.
Class purchases are non-refundable for change of mind. See the refund policy for details.
Younger Students
Students as young as nine may be considered if they have the maturity, attention, and ability to follow instructions needed for the workshop.
Please contact me before purchasing for a younger student so we can discuss which class is suitable. Students under 18 must attend with a parent or guardian.
What to Wear & Expect
- Closed-toe shoes are required.
- Wear natural-fiber clothing, such as cotton or wool. Avoid synthetic fabrics that can melt when exposed to sparks or heat.
- In colder months, wear layers you can remove as the shop warms up.
- Tie back long hair and avoid loose clothing or dangling jewelry around equipment.
Classes involve heat, noise, standing, hammering, and workshop equipment. If you need accommodations or are unsure whether the activities suit you, please contact me before purchasing.
Dogs on the Property
Two Dobermans live on the property. They are enthusiastic greeters, and the younger dog is still learning manners and may jump up or mouth during greetings.
Please tell me before scheduling if anyone attending has allergies or is uncomfortable around dogs.
On arrival, remain in your vehicle and call or text 704-985-3136 so I can secure the dogs and direct you where to park.
