Lifetime Warranty

At Doberman Forge, we stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship. Every knife is handmade to last a lifetime — and we mean it.

✅ What's Covered

We guarantee our knives against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner. If a failure occurs due to our error, we will repair or replace the item at no charge (excluding shipping).

❌ What's Not Covered

Our warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, neglect, or abuse. Examples include:

• Using the knife as a screwdriver, pry bar, or hammer
• Exposure to extreme heat or chemicals
• Improper cleaning or storage leading to rust or corrosion
• Dropping or accidental damage
• Dishwasher use — The high heat and water exposure will cause wood handles to swell, shrink, and crack. It also dulls blades and causes carbon steel to rust. Always hand wash and dry immediately. Apply oil before storage.

We reserve the right to assess whether the issue qualifies as a warranty claim.

🔁 Free Annual Resharpening

We offer one free professional sharpening per year per customer — just cover shipping both ways. This helps maintain optimal edge performance for years to come.

🔧 What’s Included

• Honing and sharpening of the primary edge
• Minor touch-ups (chips under 1mm)
• Cleaning and light polish (if needed)

Excludes: major edge repairs, regrinds, or restoration of neglected knives.

📨 How to Submit a Warranty or Sharpening Request

Please email us at sales@dobermanforge.com with the following:

• Full name and contact info
• Clear photo(s) of the knife and issue
• A short description of the problem or request
• Proof of purchase (if available)

We'll reply with next steps and return instructions.
