About Doberman Forge
Doberman Forge makes and sells handmade knives and related products and offers knife-making classes in North Carolina. These terms apply to purchases and use of this website.
Please review the relevant product description and policies before ordering. Contact us if you need clarification.
Purchasing & Product Information
You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to purchase a knife in your location. Younger students may attend eligible classes under the requirements described on our class-information page.
Customers must provide accurate contact, billing, and delivery information.
Knives are made using forging, stock removal, or a combination of methods suited to the material and design. Natural materials and handmade finishes can vary. Refer to each listing for the specifications and options being offered.
Prices & Order Acceptance
The price and currency applicable to your purchase are displayed at checkout, along with applicable taxes and shipping charges.
If an availability, pricing, or description error affects your order, we will contact you. We may decline or cancel an order because of an error, unavailable stock, suspected fraud, or restrictions on the sale. Payments collected for an order we cancel will be refunded.
Custom & Personalized Work
Custom projects require agreement on the design, price, and estimated timing before acceptance. An inquiry alone does not reserve production time or confirm an order.
Deposits may be required for special materials or personalization. Any deposit requirement will be discussed before you commit.
Changes requested after design approval may affect pricing and timing and require agreement before proceeding.
Custom work cannot be rushed. Production estimates depend on the project and existing commitments. Applicable rights concerning delayed or unfulfilled orders remain in effect.

Knife-Making Classes
Purchasing a class does not reserve a date. The purchaser or attendee must contact us to schedule.
Bookings must be arranged within 12 months of purchase; attendance may take place later on an agreed date. Scheduling is subject to availability and seasonal closures.
Classes may be purchased as gifts or transferred to another attendee. Rescheduling requires notice before the affected session begins. A session missed without prior notice is considered used and does not qualify for a replacement session.

Shipping, Returns & Warranty
Shipping arrangements are described in our Shipping Policy.
All sales are final for change of mind, subject to applicable consumer rights. We do not offer a trial period. See our Refund Policy for details.
Knife warranty coverage, exclusions, and sharpening services are described in our Lifetime Warranty. These terms do not expand or replace that coverage.
Appropriate Use
Knives are sharp cutting tools. Use and store them responsibly and follow the care instructions and intended uses described for the product.
Do not use this website for fraud, unlawful activity, unauthorized access, or infringement of another person’s rights.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.
Applicable Law & Policy Changes
These terms are governed by North Carolina law, subject to consumer protections that apply to your purchase and cannot be excluded.
Policy updates apply prospectively and do not remove rights relating to an earlier purchase. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
