Spend three hours in the Doberman Forge shop learning the fundamentals of bladesmithing. Under the guidance of Forged in Fire Champion Gabe Mabry, you’ll forge, taper, scroll, and heat-treat your own blacksmith-style utility knife from a single piece of high-carbon steel.

You’ll leave with a fully functional blade — and the confidence to say you made it yourself.

🔧 What You’ll Learn & Do

• Forge a one-piece blacksmith’s knife from scratch
• Learn to taper, scroll, and shape hot steel
• Perform a basic heat-treat process to harden your blade
• Sharpen and take your finished knife home the same day
